Digital Drawing with Procreate for Children
In this 6-week course, children will learn the basics of digital drawing in a fun and practical way using Procreate, the drawing application developed for iPads. Through sample projects and weekly assignments, children will improve their creativity while developing their own drawing style. During the course, artworks will be shared and reviewed in a group setting, encouraging children to gain inspiration from each other’s creations.
In this 6-week course, digital drawing techniques will be taught practically through Procreate, the drawing application available only on iOS-based iPads. Participants will learn how to actively use the application through many sample drawing exercises and reinforce their learning with weekly assignments.
During the course, a WhatsApp group will be used to share artworks and assignments. Participants will be able to receive feedback, ask questions, and gain inspiration from each other’s work. Information about the professional use of Procreate will also be shared throughout the training. Mentorship support may be offered after the course for participants who wish to further improve their skills.
Week 1
Basic tools such as pen, eraser, and layer features.
Week 2
Color, pattern, light and shadow settings in Procreate.
Week 3
Shortcuts, easy drawing techniques in Procreate, fun drawing activities.
Week 4
Using different effects.
Week 5
Animation.
Week 6
Brush library, general settings, and practical application tips.
